All you need to know about RFYS registration process

The registrations for the RFYS 2018-19 is now open! Participants who wish to register for any event can do so via their institute and team details.

Reliance Foundation Youth Sports is back! The third edition promises to be bigger and better as the country’s budding sportsmen will get a platform to showcase their skills.

How to register for RFYS

The registrations for the RFYS 2018-19 is now open! Participants who wish to register for any event can do so via their institute and team details. The institutes can get themselves enrolled either through our on-ground volunteers in their respective cities or register directly through our online registration portal at https://register.rfyouthsports.com.

Please follow the steps below to register for RFYS 2018-19:

1) Fill in the details of your institute, select sport(s) and click submit. 
2) You will receive a username and password on your registered email ID.
3) Login with the username and password. 
4) On the dashboard tab, click 'Add Student" and fill in your personal details

This season, the city-based championships for Football will be organized in 25 centers while Athletics will be held in as many as 14 centers across the country.

New disciplines in Athletics

RFYS 2018-19 will introduce two new disciplines in Athletics. Shot Put will be added as the newest field event for all the categories whereas the sub-junior boys and girls will get a chance to display their skills in the newly added 600m discipline.

Eligibility criteria for RFYS Season 2018-19

Football

Junior Boys - Under this category, boys who are 16 years or less will be allowed to compete. Their date of birth should be on or after 1st July 2002 and must be studying in classes 7-10.

Senior Boys - Under this category, boys who are 18 years or less will be allowed to compete. Their date of birth should be on or after 1st July 2000 and must be studying in classes 11th or 12th.

School Girls - Under this category, girls who are 18 years old or less will be allowed to compete. Their date of birth should be on or after 1st July 2000 but also on a special request case basis, a team can have 3 girl athletes, who are class 7th or 8th students and U-18 (born on or after July 1, 2000).

College Boys - Under this category, boys who are 23 years old or less will be allowed to compete. Their date of birth should be on or after 1st July 1995 and should be pursuing an undergraduate degree course at their respective college or university.

Athletics

Sub Junior Boys/ Sub Junior Girls – Under this category, students who are 14 years old or less will be allowed to compete. Their date of birth should be on or after of 1st July, 2004 must be studying in class 7th or 8th.

Junior Boys/ Junior Girls - Under this category, students who are 16 years old or less will be allowed to compete. Their date of birth should be on or after 1st July 2002 and must be studying in class 9th or 10th.

Senior Boys/ Senior Girls - Under this category, students who are 18 years old or less will be allowed to compete. Their date of birth should be on or after 1st July 2000 and must be studying in class 11th or 12th.

College Boys/ College Girls - Under this category, students who are 23 years old or less will be allowed to compete. Their date of birth should be on or after 1st July 1995 and they should be pursuing an undergraduate degree course at their respective college or university.

All students who fall under the above listed category are encouraged to sign up for the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports Championships.

Senior/ College (Boys and Girls) – 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1500m, 5000m, High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, 4x100m, 4x400m

Junior (Boys and Girls) - 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 2000m, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, 4x100m, 4x400m

Sub Junior (Boys and Girls) - 100m, 200m, 400m, 600m, High Jump, Long Jump, Shot Put, 4x100m
