Day 35: RFYS 2018-19

New day at RFYS, new cities at RFYS. Kolkata starts its Track and Field campaign, while Ludhiana kicks off its Football matches today.

Another eventful day of RFYS concludes! In the last event of the day in Athletics Arun Kumar Sau showed great endurance to claim the Gold medal in 2000m Junior Boys race by clocking 6.52.57 seconds. Football saw the Senior Boy’s of Xaviers English High School win 3-0 against Govind Vidyalaya in Jamshedpur. The Sub Junior Girls  from Kolkata competed in the 100m finals. It was closely contested as Jaya Hansda bagged the Gold with a timing of 13.52 seconds followed by Dibya Sen who clocked 13.62 seconds. Don't miss out on the updates, catch all the results on Athletics Results

Ludhiana, the city making debut at RFYS 2018-19 witnessed some dominant performances. Sahibzada Ajit Singh Public School comfortably won 8-0 against Govt. Sr. Sec School, Hassanpur including a hat-trick by Harman Singh in Ludhiana. For results from other cities, visit Football Results

A couple of high scoring games in Mumbai - Senior Boys of K J Somaiya College of Science & Commerce were impeccable in their 19-0 win against NES Ratnam Degree College of Arts, Science & Commerce. Dhirubhai Ambani International School on the other hand increased their lead to 12-0 at full time against Raigad Military School.

Like in RFYS 2017-18, Athletes from Charuchandra College are winning top honours in Kolkata, among them is Chayan Nandy who bagged gold for his might throw of 17.90m in the College Boys Shot Put event. Upendra Solanki of H K Arts College clocked 22.76 in the 200m College Boys event and cruised to victory in Vadodara.

St. Michaels Sr Sec School came out all guns blazing and won 6-0 against Shri Ram International School in Indore. Meanwhile in Pune, Junior Boys of The Orbis School won convicingly against RIMS International School & Junior College by 3-0.

Bhubaneswar witnessed a close encounter with Regional Institute of Education scoring in the 56th minute to bag a 1-0 win against KIIT School of Law. In Mumbai, Junior Boys of Tarapur Vidya Mandir & Junior College advanced to the next round by beating Rustomjee International School 4-1.
