K.V.M. High School and Govt. Chatlang Higher Secondary School booked a place in the Junior Boys City Championship finals in Aizawl.

Aizawl got the day underway with semifinals in the Junior Boys category. Govt. K.V.M. High School faced Govt. High School Melriat in the first semifinal. Truly a game of two halves, the first half finished 1-1 where both teams found it hard to break the opponent's defense. Govt. KVM High School seemed like a different team after the game restarted, scoring seven goals without reply. Eric Lalsangzuala scored four goals for his team including a stunning solo goal. Things were easier for Govt. Chatlang Higher Secondary School in their 3-0 win over Govt. Mizo High School, becoming the second team to book their place in the finals of the City Championships.

Ahmedabad continued with the league stage in the Senior Boys and College Boys category. St. Xavier’s College registered an impressive 13-0 win over Faculty of Computer Application & IT. Royal Rajesh Wasker was a unanimous choice for the player of the match award with an inspiring performance which included three goals! L.D. College of Engineering got a comfortable 4-0 victory over Amrut Mody School of Management while Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Technology, Vasad broke little sweat in their 7-0 win over School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. A thriller of a game saw Indus University registering a 3-2 win over LDRP Gandhinagar, scoring the winner in the dying minutes of the game. Shree M.P Shah Commerce College ended the day on a high with an atrocious 15-0 victory over Faculty of Business Administration.

League stage also continued in Goa in the Junior Boys, Senior Boys, College Boys and School Girls category. Shree Ameya Vidyaprasarak Mandal Higher Secondary School left it late to snatch a 2-1 victory over Fr. Agnel Higher Secondary School. Don Bosco High School registered a 7-0 win over St. Xavier’s High School. Regina Martyrum High School defeated Regina Mundi High School 3-0, in the School Girls category.

Delhi hosted qualifier games in the Junior Boys and Senior Boys category. Ahlcon Public School started the day's proceedings with a 4-0 win over Indirapuram Public School in the Senior Boys category. The Junior Boys category witnessed high scoring games, with Cambridge School Noida registering a 10-0 win over Global Indian International School, and Delhi Public School, R K Puram defeating Presidium School, 8-0. Ursuline Convent Sr. Sec School scored nine goals without reply against Jaypee Public School. Cambridge School beat Padamshree N.N.Mohan Public School 3-0 in the Senior Boys category in the final game.

Qualifier games also continued at Kolkata, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mumbai and Hyderabad. Subulussalam HSS Moorkanad completed a 5-1 victory over PPMHSS Kottukkara in Kozhikode. In Mumbai, K J Somaiya College of Arts & Commerce registered an 8-0 win over KETS VG Vaze College of Arts Science & Commerce. Greenfingers Global School showed no mercy in their 11-0 rout of Mazidun High School & Junior College.
