RFYS Athletics conclude in Hyderabad!

After three intriguing days of action, RFYS Athletics concluded in the city of Hyderabad today

Track and field events were in full flow on Day 3 of RFYS Athletics in Hyderabad. The city got its winners in all categories in 100m, 200m, 400m, and 1500m. The boys from Telangana Sports School collected the maximum number of medals on the day including nine gold medals. The city winners would go on to represent the city in the National Championships.

Kolkata became the latest city to host the Football City Championships in all categories today. Chaturdash Palli High School became the School Girls Champions in an emphatic manner with a 17-0 win over Behela Sarada Vidyapith making a huge statement for the upcoming East Zonal Championship. Gangadharpur Vidyamandir emerged the Junior Boys champions after an 11-10 penalty shootout win over Chowbaga High School. Kapasdanga Satin Sen Vidyapith denied Gangadharpur Vidyamandir a double championship by defeating them in the Senior Boys Final. The match went onto penalties after finishing 1-1 at fulltime where Kapasdanga clinched the title with a 6-4 win.

The College Boys Championship between Charuchandra College and Netaji Nagar Day was also decided by a penalty shoot-out after the game finished scoreless at full time. Charuchandra's keeper made brilliant back to back saves from two spot kicks to win them the Championship.
