Mumbai Champions are all set to light up the National Championship

Athletes from Fr. Agnel Multipurpose School & Jr. College and Childrens Academy and Udayachal High School were the stand out performers in the City Championship, but will they deliver at the National Championship when it matters the most?

In the Senior Boys category, Aryan Landge from the Reliance Foundation School set the tracks ablaze in the 100 and 200 meters winning the gold and silver medal respectively. Navy Children School's athletes also impressed everyone with several athletes bagging medals in several events. Abhishek Singh bagged the bronze medal in 200 meters while Ayush Singh clinched the gold in 400 meters with an eye-catching time of 55.69 seconds. In long distance running, Wahid Slimani of Central Railway Senior Secondary School was the undisputed star with a gold and bronze medal in 1500 and 5000 meters respectively. Kishinchand Chellaram College were the relay race champions in the Senior Boys category winning both 4*100 and 4*400 meters relay.

Swami Vivekanand Education Centre and Fr. Agnel Multipurpose School and Jr. College were the stand out winners in the Senior Girls category. Rosalin Lewis from Fr. Agnel won the silver and gold in 100 meters and 200 meters while Kirti Bhoite of Swami Vivekanand bagged gold and silver in the same events. Sweety Lal added another feather to Swami Vivekanand's cap with two silver medals in 800 and 1500 meters.

Fr. Agnel Multipurpose School also impressed in the Junior Boys category winning gold medals in the 800 meters and 4*100 meters. They also bagged the silver medals in 100, 200 and 400 meters. Pratham from Ryan International School was the champion of sprints clinching gold in 100 and 200 meters. He'll be a one to look out for when the National Championship begins. Children's Academy dominated the field events in the Junior Boys category winning gold, silver and bronze medals in the high jump, triple jump and long jump categories.

Children's Academy and Udayachal High School also stood out in the Junior Girls category winning accolades in almost all the events. Shrushti Shetty from Children's Academy bagged the gold medal in 100 meters while Vaibhavi, also from Children's Academy was the 800 meters and 1500 meters champion. Disha from Udayachal High School won the silver medal in 100 meters while Pranjali clinched gold for Udayachal in 200 meters and High Jump. Udayachal were also the 4*100 meters relay champions while Children's Academy won the silver in 4*400 meters.
