The goals continued to flow in the Hyderabad Championship Center, while Kochi and Nilambur saw their first glimpse of action of the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports (RFYS) 2023-24 football season.

In Hyderabad, fixtures took place in the league of six format, in the boys U-15, boys U-17, boys U-19 and boys U-21 categories from September 25 to October 1.

On September 25, a nail-biting boys U-19 fixture between Kendriya Vidyalaya, Golconda and Sreenidhi International School stole the show. An end-to-end game between the two sides ended with an astonishing scoreline of 4-4. Additionally, Kendriya Vidyalaya were victorious in the boys U-17 category as well, with the Tirumalagiri branch defeating St. Andrews School, Bowenpally 1-0.

College, Alwal got the better of Lords Institute Of Engineering And Tech, scoring a whopping 21 goals without any response. Elsewhere, in the boys U-19 category, St. Mary's Junior College, Jubilee Hills came out on top 3-2 against Loyola Academy Junior College after an intense back-and-forth fixture.

Loyola Academy Degree And P.G College, Alwal produced another incredible performance on September 27, trouncing Wesley Degree College, Secunderabad with a jaw-dropping scoreline of 18-0 in a boys U-21 match. Meanwhile, in the boys U-15 category, Oakridge International School, Bachupally sailed to a comfortable 3-0 win over Samashti International School.

Loyola Academy Degree And P.G College, Alwal made it three wins out of three on October 1, besting Anwar-Ul-Uloom College 5-1, in the boys U-21 category.

In a boys U-17 clash, Army Public School, Golconda sealed a straight-forward 4-0 win over St. Andrews School, Bowenpally.

The opening day in Kochi saw scintillating action in the boys U-21 category.

On October 4, Union Christian College, Aluva trounced Bharata Mata College 6-1, while Illahia College Of Arts And Science secured a 5-0 win over Fisat.

In the last boys U-21 fixture of the day, L.N.C.P.E and St.Paul’s College, Kalamassery battled it out in an intense match with the scoreline reading 2-2 at the end of normal time. L.N.C.P.E held their nerve, eventually winning the tie 2-0 on penalties.

The RFYS football season made its way to Nilambur, where the boys U-15, boys U-17 and boys U-19 categories competed from October 9 to October 14.

In the first game on October 9, MES Higher Secondary School, Mampad strolled to a 2-0 win against Peevees Model School, Nilambur in a boys U-15 match at the MSP Ground in Nilambur. In another fixture in the same category, Mariyumma Memorial Public School pipped Moulana M.M. Higher Secondary, Kuttayi 1-0 in a close affair.

On October 10, in a boys U-17 clash, Govt. Higher Secondary School, Edakkara were clinical in front of goal, scoring five while keeping a clean sheet against Al-Anvar High School, Kuniyil. In another boys U-17 fixture on the same day, Islahiya Oriental Higher Secondary and Govt. Higher Secondary, Thiruvali locked horns in a thrilling match that ended 2-2 after normal time. The game was decided on spot kicks, with Islahiya Oriental Higher Secondary winning 4-3.

Islahiya Oriental Higher Secondary continued their winning run the following day, with another thrilling fixture against Govt. Higher Secondary School, Edakkara, which ended 3-2 in favour of the former. Whereas, in the boys U-15 category, Mariyumma Memorial Public School breezed past MES Higher Secondary School, Mampad 3-0.

In a boys U-19 fixture on October 14, Govt. Higher Secondary School, Pookkottumpadam showed their dominance in a 4-0 victory over Peevees Model School, Nilambur. In another dominant display in the boys U-19 category, Govt. Vocational Higher Secondary School, Mampad triumphed over P.P.P.M Higher Secondary School, Kottukkara in an impressive 4-0 win.
