After an action-packed Day 1 of the City Finals in Meghalaya, the focus now shifts to Mizoram.

The action begins tomorrow, from 8:30 am onwards. All the matches will be live-streamed on Facebook and on the website.

The Sub Junior Boys will take to the pitch as 1st MAP EM take on SACRED HEART SCHOOL, in the 1st game of the day. Kick-off at 8:30 am. (7th November)


Sacred Heart School has played 12 matches (6W, 4D, 2L) during the 2019-20 season. They have scored 18 goals in total. Check out their form guide here.


The 2nd match of the day will see Mount Carmel School lock horns with Govt Chaltlang HSS in the School Girls category. You can watch this match on Facebook Live as well as on the website, from 10:00 am.


Mount Carmel School have played 4 matches (2W, 1D, 1L). HC Florida Kristazi has found the back of the net twice for Mount Carmel. Here is how the girls faired in the tournament so far.


Govt Chaltlang HSS on the other hand, have ensured a 100% win record so far by winning all 7 of their matches. Their goal tally of 19, has also been quite impressive, highlighting the attacking mindset of the team. F Hmingthantluangi and Lalhming Liani have been in goal scoring form, scoring 4 goals each in the tournament so far. See their amazing run here.


The Junior Boys category kicks off at 11:30 AM. Govt. Chaltlang HS and Govt Mizo HS will try to outscore each other to lay claim on the City Finals tittle. The match will be streamed live on Facebook and www.rfyouthsports.com.

In the 5 matches played by Govt Chaltlang HS, they managed to avoid defeat by registering 4 wins and one draw. Out of the 11 goals scored by them, Hming Chungnunga found the net 7 times. You can witness their journey to the City Finals here.


Their opponents, Govt Mizo HS have also remained undefeated with 3 wins and a draw in the 4 matches that they have played. They have been miserly in terms of goals conceded, with Malsawm Kima holding fort with 2 clean sheets. Check out their form guide here.

The 4th game of the day, will be a Senior Boys match-up between Bazar Veng HSS and Govt Chaltlang HSS. This live stream begins at 1:00 pm on Facebook and the website.

The fifth and final match of the day will feature an intense battle between Govt T. Romana College and Lunglei Govt College in the College Boys category. The match starts at 3:30 pm and can be viewed live on Facebook and the website.

After an action-packed Day 1. Day 2 promises to be another goal-fest. Certain undefeated runs will come to an end, while the chance to be in the spotlight and lay claim to the trophy and awards will be aplenty. As the sun sets tomorrow, Mizoram will crown the champions across all 5 categories and with the champions moving ahead to the national qualifiers, the story of glory, continues towards its next chapter.
