The Reliance Foundation Youth Sports football tournament continued in nine cities, with the season now heading towards the crucial stage in select venues.

First up was Ahmedabad, where a bombardment of goals took place, as Institute of technology and Management Universe, Vadodara beat Shree HK Commerce College by a staggering scoreline of 21-1. Dharmik Patel, was credited with the Player of the Match award after getting on the scoresheet 9 times throughout the course of the game. On the contrary, a feisty contest between Faculty of Business Administration and School of Engineering/Applied Sciences saw both sides battle neck to neck, with the Business outfit just edging the game by 5-3.

Talking about tightly fought games, penalties were required in Delhi to separate Cambridge School (Noida) and Pragyan School, after they could not get the better of each other over normal time with the score level at 3-3. Some great heroics from Goalkeeper Sukrit Bhatiya, Pragyan managed to win the shootout 3-2. Hansraj Smarak Senior Secondary School sailed to victory over C.S.H.P Public School with Shashank Rawat claiming all 4 goals in his sides victory.

Goa, once again turned out to be a high scoring venue as Shri Shantadurga Higher Secondary School clinched a late winner thanks to Durgesh Durganand Mandrekar, leaving Government HigherSecondary Khandola with heartbreak as they lost 3-2.

Abrar Ali Khan was the name circulating around Hyderabad as he bagged 5 goals in his team, Delhi School of Excellence’s 11-0 victory over Iqra Mission High School.

Kolkata saw Garulia Mill High School wrap up things fashionably as they came from behind to shock Sapuipara Janata Adarsh Vidyalaya, eventually winning the game 4-2.

Mumbai saw both Pillai College of Engineering and Kishinchand Chellaram College register 6-0 victories and take a huge step towards progressing and qualifying for the knockout stages.

Down South, Chennai witnessed a goal fiesta at the hands of St.Patrick's, as they breezed to a 7-0 victory over Chinmaya Matriculation School.

Finally heading to the North East, Sunny Dale Higher Secondary School took an early 3-0 lead with Dinet Manik Syiem Memorial Higher Secondary School only managing a consolation right at the endof the game to take the scoreline to 3-1.
