RFYS Athletics National Championship 2019-20, Day Three Recap, Part 4

The 17th event of the day, in the Sub-Junior Boys category, was the 100 Meter Relay Final. Coming in first with a runtime of 45.63 seconds, was the relay team from Guru Gobind Singh Sports College. They broke the previous RFYS seasons record of 53.72 but slightly more than eight seconds. The silver went to the team from RK Inter College for a runtime of 47.45 seconds. Rounding out the top three with a runtime of 48.50 seconds was the relay team from Ramnarayanpur ACS Vidyaniketan.

The next event of the day was the 400 Meter Relay Final. It was in the Junior Boys category. Leading the pack was the relay team from Government Boys High School Unit IX with a record-breaking runtime of 3:34.08 seconds. The silver went to the relay team from Vidyagyan School for a runtime of 3:35.81 seconds. In third place, for the bronze for the relay team from Chhotu Ram Memorial Public School. Their runtime was 3:36.22 seconds.

 

The 19th event of the day was the 400 Meter Final in the Junior Girls category. The gold was bagged by the team from Nari Shiksha Niketan Inter College with a runtime of 4:16.96. They broke the old RFYS seasons record of 4:20.95 seconds by almost four seconds. In the second place, with a runtime of 4:19.84 seconds, also breaking the old RFYS seasons record, was the relay team from Government Sports High School. Rounding out the top three was the relay team from Kongu Vellalar Matriculation Higher Secondary School with a runtime of 4:23.17 seconds.

 

The next event of day three, in the Senior Boys category, was the 200 Meter Final. The gold went to Seena Seena from Hansraj Memorial School. He had a runtime of 22.55 seconds. In second place with a runtime of 22.77 seconds was Gowshik T from Khajamian Higher Secondary. Rounding out the top three was Govind Govind from Adi Shankaracharya College with a runtime of 22.86 seconds.

 

The 21st event of the day was the Shot Put Final in the Sub-Junior Girls category. Coming in first with a put distance of 11.07 meters was Pristal Dsouza from St. Francis. In second place was her teammate Pearl Dsouza with a put distance of 10.43 meters. The bronze was bagged by Dona Marie Dony from Pallotti Hill Public with a put distance of 10.30 meters.
