RFYS Athletics National Championship 2019-20, Day Two Recap, Part 7

The 33rd event of the day, in the College Girls category, was the 100 Meter Relay Final. In first place, with a runtime of 50.66 seconds was the relay team from Christ College. The silver went to the team from PSGR Krishnammal College with a runtime of 50.72 seconds. Rounding the top three, with a runtime of 51.42 seconds was the relay team from Charuchandra College.

The 33rd event of the day, in the College Girls category, was the 100 Meter Relay Final. In first place, with a runtime of 50.66 seconds was the relay team from Christ College. The silver went to the team from PSGR Krishnammal College with a runtime of 50.72 seconds. Rounding the top three, with a runtime of 51.42 seconds was the relay team from Charuchandra College.

 

The Long Jump Final in the Sub-Junior Girls category was the next event of the day. Getting the gold with a jump distance of Paveena R from St. Joseph’s Matriculation. The silver went to Aisha Bishwas from Kalyangarh Balika with a jump distance of 5.05 meters. Rounding out the top three was Roma Nitin Tandel from Mary Immaculate Girls School with a jump distance of 4.90 meters. 

 

The 35th event of the day was the Javelin Throw in the College Boys category. Nitish Yadav from Dyal Singh College with a throw distance of 58.63 meters. The second place prize was awarded to Arafath M from Loyola College with a throw distance of 58.36 meters. Rounding out the top three with a throw distance of 58.10 meters was Subhendu Mondal from Charuchandra College.

 

The next event of the day, in the College Girls category, was the High Jump Final. Jishna M from MES Kalladi College got the gold with a jump height of 1.73 meters. In second place with a jump height of 1.55 meters was Prabhjeet Kaur from Khalsa College for Women. The bronze went to Jassika J from Jesus and Mary College. Her jump height was 1.55 meters.

 

The second to last event of the day was the 400 Meter Relay Final in the Senior Girls category. The relay team from Kalladi HSS won the gold with a runtime of 4:17.82 seconds. In second place with a runtime of 4:20.44 seconds was the relay team from St. Joseph HSS. Rounding out the top three was the relay team from Anguvilas Higher Secondary School with a runtime of 4:23.82 seconds.

 

The last event of the day, in the Senior Boys category was the 400 Meter Relay Final. In first place, with a runtime of 3:28.44 seconds was the relay team from Ramappa Junior College. In the process they beat the old RFYS seasons record of 3:29.47 seconds. The silver went to the relay team from Fr. Agnel Multipurpose School and Jr. College. Their runtime was 3:29.90 seconds. Rounding out the top three with a runtime of 3:31.78 seconds was the relay team from Chhotu Ram Memorial Public School.
