Welcome to the 80th day of RFYS action! Today, St Anthony HSS, Shillong take on Ramfalbil Higher Secondary School, Guwahati in the East Zone 1 fixture of National Qualifiers in the Junior Boys Category.

That was matchday 80 at RFYS! It was a thrilling day of footballing action with teams in Shillong & Guwahati vying to book a place in the National Championship. There was drama, heartbreak, confusion, passion, goals and lots of quality football on display. To see how the teams fared, visit Football Results. A superb attacking display led by Anshita Pant’s hat-trick saw Oberoi International School run out 6-2 winners over Ryan International School in Mumbai’s School Girls encounter. Over in Mumbai’s Junior Boys clash, Roshan Singh’s strike was cancelled out by Qwain Dsouza as both St. Lawrence High School and St. Dominic Savio High School shared the spoils.

Mumbai’s St. Francis Dassisi High School & Junior College secured a 1-0 victory over Hiranandani Foundation School, courtesy of Afroz Khan’s 25th minute strike. Two quickfire goals in the second half saw Billabong High International School, Thane record a 2-0 victory against PMM Rotary School in Mumbai’s Junior Boys fixture.

In Delhi’s Junior Boys game, Jagbeer Dayma’s first half brace ensured Saint Xavier's School a 2-0 win over Mira Model School. In Kolkata’s School Girls semi-final, Habiba Katun bagged a hat-trick in Howramari High School’s 6-0 victory against Kalyani University Experimental High School.

Rajarshi Chhatrapati Shahu High School & Jr College have progressed to the National Qualifiers after holding their nerve to win 4-3 in penalty shootout against Maharashtra High School in Kolhapur’s Junior Boys final. Three different players got on the score-sheet in Don Bosco High School Matunga’s 3-0 win against North Point School in Mumbai’s Junior Boys clash.

Arnesh Pillai put on a masterclass as he netted a hat-trick in Swami Vivekanand High School & Jr. College’s 4-0 drubbing of Anjuman Khairul Islam Mohammed Ali Mitha Urdu High School in Mumbai’s Junior Boys game. Meanwhile, Mumbai’s Rizvi College of Arts, Science And Commerce were held to a goalless draw by Siddharth College of Arts Commerce & Science in the College Boys category.

Led by Utsav Parekh’s brace, St. Lawrence High School blanked Seven Sqaure Academy 3-0 in Mumbai’s Junior Boys game, visit Football Schedule.
