The two teams facing off in the final match were Nilamani English School and, Imphal and St. Joseph's International School, Hisar. It paid off when in the 10th minute, Yumnam Laxmi got the ball near the nets after a corner kick and tapped it into the nets to put Nilamani Neligh School up 1-0. St. Joseph's International School needed that equalizer to stay in the game and were desperately looking for it. They didn't have to wait too long as they found it just seven minutes later. Varsha scored an amazing shot from the penalty area to the right corner of the nets for St. Joseph's International School to tie things up at 1-1.

At the end of the first half the scores were still tied 1-1 as neither team could find that go ahead goal that they so desperately sought.

The second half saw both teams trying hard to score the winning the goals but had no luck. Three minutes were added at the 60 minute mark. Taking advantage of this, the leading scorer for Nilamani English School, Thoibisana Toijam beat the goalkeeper and tapped the ball into the nets giving her team the advantage. St. Joseph's International School tried their hardest to equalize the game but there simply wasn't enough time as Nilamani English School were crowned champions in the School Girls category for the second year in a row.
