Reliance Foundation supported athletes make strong start at 2025 World Championships in Rifle/Pistol

Athletes supported by the Reliance Foundation made a strong start at the 2025 World Championships in Rifle/Pistol in Cairo, Egypt on the opening day on Saturday. Reliance Foundation supported athletes contributed to three of the four medals won by India on Day One of the Championships. Armyman Ravinder Singh won India's first Gold in this edition in the men's 50m pistol event with a personal best score of 569. His strong showing also helped India clinch silver in the 50m men's pistol team event behind Republic of Korea.

Athletes supported by the Reliance Foundation made a strong start at the 2025 World Championships in Rifle/Pistol in Cairo, Egypt on the opening day on Saturday.

Reliance Foundation supported athletes contributed to three of the four medals won by India on Day One of the Championships. The third medal was won by India in the women's 10m air rifle team event where China and Republic of Korea won Gold and Silver respectively. The Indian team comprised of Meghana Sajjanar, who is also supported by the Reliance Foundation.

Shooting is one of the key priority sports for Reliance Foundation with it recently also signing a historic MoU with the Army Marksmanship Unit in Mhow.
