Vishnu Saravanan: India’s Sailing Star Chasing Asian Games Gold | Reliance Foundation Sports

Reliance Foundation Sports athlete Vishnu Saravanan first discovered the sport as a young boy, drawn to the sea and the feeling of being in control of his own decisions. What began as curiosity soon became a pursuit of the Olympic dream. Today, Vishnu spends 8-9 hours a day at the Army Yachting Node - the place he calls the birthplace of his sailing journey. Racing in the ILCA 7 demands immense physical strength, relentless focus and the ability to read every shift in the wind and waves. Yet, for all his preparation, Vishnu remains his own biggest doubter - constantly asking himself if he can go further, achieve more and reach somewhere he hasn't been before. From discovering sailing to representing India on the world stage, his journey continues with a clear target: Asian Games gold in 2026, and a place among the world's top 10 at the LA 2028 Olympics. The sea may be unpredictable. His ambition isn't. Watch his journey. 🎥
