India’s Oshin, supported by Reliance Foundation Youth Sports (RFYS), delivered a standout performance at the 3rd Youth Asian Games in Bahrain, winning the silver medal in the girls’ discus throw with a personal best of 43.38m.

Born in 2009, Oshin is one of India’s brightest emerging talents in athletics. Her medal-winning throw marked a new personal milestone, improving upon her previous best of 43.33m, recorded earlier this month at the National Junior Athletics Championships 2025 in Bhubaneswar. Competing against Asia’s finest young throwers, she displayed composure, precision, and strength beyond her years to secure a podium finish for India.

The 3rd Youth Asian Games saw Oshin rise to the occasion in front of a strong field. Her series of throws showed technical improvement and confidence, culminating in the personal best mark that earned her the silver medal, a clear sign of her steady upward trajectory in the sport.

Over the past year, Oshin has been consistently improving through structured training and exposure to national and international competitions. She was also a part of the 40th National Junior Athletics Championships, where she produced strong performances alongside other top youth athletes from across the country.
Oshin’s Silver medal and personal best in Bahrain mark not just an individual triumph but also a milestone for Indian youth athletics. Her success embodies our mission - empowering young athletes with the training, confidence, and platform to excel internationally and bring glory to the nation.
