They made a steady start in the Zonal Group Stage, showing flashes of attacking quality while continuing to build rhythm as a unit. They scored a total of 12 goals during the phase, with their most notable performance coming in a thrilling
3-2 victory over PFC Kerala. Trailing 0-2 at the break, Bengaluru FC staged a remarkable comeback, scoring three second-half goals to secure the win and highlight their resilience and fighting spirit. Their performances in the zonal stage laid the groundwork for a stronger showing in the next phase.

Carrying that momentum forward, BFC took their performance to a notch higher in the National Group Stage. Their campaign was defined by both attacking efficiency and defensive solidity, as they emerged as one of the most balanced sides in the competition.

Defensively, Bengaluru stood out as one of the most organised teams in the stage, registering five clean sheets, the second-highest tally in the National Group Stage. Their compact structure and discipline allowed them to control games and limit opposition chances effectively.

In the attack, they demonstrated their firepower with several standout performances. A commanding 6-2 victory over Sreenidi Deccan FC highlighted their clinical finishing and ability to dominate high-scoring encounters, while a composed 2-0 win against FC Goa showcased their control and maturity in managing games from start to finish. Ningthoukhonjam led the line effectively, finishing as BFC’s top scorer in the National Group Stage and playing a key role in their attacking success.

The Bengaluru campaign has been defined by its balance between attacking intent and defensive organisation. Their structured build-up play, combined with the ability to step up in decisive moments, has made them one of the most complete teams in the competition.

This season once again reflects the strength of Bengaluru FC’s youth development system, which continues to nurture players capable of performing at a high level while maintaining a clear tactical identity.

With strong momentum and consistent performances across both stages, Bengaluru FC head into the RFDL National Championship as one of the most disciplined and in-form teams. Their resilience, structure, and ability to deliver under pressure make them strong contenders to go deep into the competition.
